    It's good!
I see another 9th being added to your collection soon!

I just looked it up and I have it if it is this one:

Nicolaus Esterhazy Sinfonia and Chorus, Bela Drahos, on NAXOS.

I like this one. In fact, I have two CDs of this one because I bought the score of the NINTH in a book and the Drahos disc came with it. I wanted to follow along with the music but am afraid I am way too deep to try that with the Ninth. Have to start with something simple, Chopsticks maybe.

Yes, that's it! I have seen some vintage scores, the Ninth included, in the second hand bookshop- will get them at some point.

Been listening the Quartets (Tokyo SQ) most every day for several months. With a few sets of Bagatelles or variations or a Piano trio interspersed
                        can't get enough lvb lately.

I know that one! I love the Quartets and the Bagatelles- especially the 6 Bagatelles. Oh and the Ghost trio and Trio no 3. And the Archduke trio!

I am listening to the same. Will be followed by the 7th on same disc with Joshua Bell conducting.

My recording is Eliot Gardiner with the typical fast tempi - to be honest I think he is too fast in this, especially the first movement which sounds hurried. I've not heard Bell conduct, a good recording?
