        More Cascade Beethoven:

        Cello sonatas 1, 2, Variations Op. 66, WoO 46
        Cello sonatas 3, 4, 5

These are OK. I like to have variations on separate tracks, but for these particular pieces it's not too important.

I ripped cello sonatas 3, 4 and 5 from my set and put them on my mp3 player after hearing some of it on BeethovenOnly radio. They are wonderful.

His late string quartets are on his radio! Opus 132 has just been on, now it is op 130. They are so etheral and unusual. I found a snippet from a book that discusses them:

Just finished Ormandy conducting Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. Now listening to Choral Fantasy.

EDIT: finished Beethoven Mass In C (Rilling).

Now I am listening to my new Messiah set:

This is a very wonderful Messiah and likely will be my favorite right alongside of my Dublin Messiah.

Beethoven Op.131 - the work Schubert requested to listen to on his death bed, no wonder as it isn't of this world.
