It has a lot of the best Vivaldi choral works in my opinion. Very good CD.

[QUOTE=Rocco;63891]Wow this site has been dead... Need to bring it to life!

Vivaldi - The great choral masterpieces

Dead? Nonsense we're still going strong after 14 years!!

I have that cd - some lovely music, Vivaldi deserves to be known for more than Nigel Kennedy and those Seasons, he wrote much finer music.

Creatures of Prometheus, fresh ripped from Disc 11 of my 87 CD Complete Beethoven Edition. I got the set early last week and didn't rip any discs for a whole week. I am exercising great self control. Besides, it would be no fun to just overwhelm myself with all that music at once. Like fine wine, it must be appreciated a little at a time.

                          Well, I started another one...

This is what I was listening to just before lunch:

Arrived from Ebay this morning! I LOVE Ebay....

I'm more into Ebay as often items are often cheaper, and it is mostly private sellers rather than this big company that is known to exploit workers. I have bought from and do buy from Amazon, but recently only if what I want can't be found on Ebay or locally, or if I want music mp3s I can't get anywhere else.

Good points Aeolian Harp. I have purchases much off of Ebay at one time but have been relying more on Amazon lately. Ebay is nice if you get the Buy it Now but auctions are kind of stressful. Actually, I recently (Feb)bought the Gunter Wand Beethoven Nine Symphonies set off of Ebay and an auction. Nobody else bid, so I got it at the starting price of $17 USD with free shipping!

Also, I have the Drahos Ninth. It's a good one.
