Free Beethoven download

Rocco just set me up with Linux Mint.

Awesome! I have Mint on my netbook. And Peppermint on this laptop.

My HP Pavilion was given up for dead when it required the OS to be reloaded every time I started it. Now it works great! I feel like I have been set free!

I've just managed to peel the Windows XP sticker off this laptop hehe- I inherited it from my late brother. I just need more RAM and memory, as it is an old laptop- it is mostly fast working, just when I am using a lot of Flash it slows down.

Here is an interesting book, The Physical Basis of Music, by a Physics Professor. Chapter 7 is titled "Mozart and Beethoven Compared." I haven't read the chapter yet, but some of you may be interested in the entire book. The title page is the last listing, chapters are the pdf files:

Well I have read Chapter 7 now and a good bit of 8. I'll say that he comes down pretty hard on Mozart. I would be curious to hear from those who are very familiar with both Mozart and Beethoven in response to what this book says. The author does play piano and so does have more experience with music than just physics theory.

Chapter 8 is interesting as he discusses electronic music and instruments.
