      Yes it is just incredible how Beethoven managed to continually surpass himself!
      He is extraordinary.



      The late works take time to assimilate and appreciate - as a teenager it was always the middle period works that attracted me most and I did struggle with the late quartets and sonatas - strange how we change.
      I love all the periods!

            Yes and I should have added how he constantly reinvents himself - each work is unique, yet they have the 'Beethoven' mark.
            They are unique indeed and even his earliest works has his mark on them!

                          I'll have to listen to them both to compare. By the way Michael- his radio station is going funny again....plays then stops and says I need the latest flash but I have it...

                          You mentioned some Firefox add on before that might be interfering with it?

                              Somebody else must have mentioned Firefox, Aeolian. I'm not that well up. I only have Windows Explorer and Google Chrome.
