I only saw some of the film the other day (this being the later version, not the classic Orson Welles) and missed the Beethoven, but heard Jane's attempts at the Chopin Eb Nocturne interrupted by a grumpy Mr.Rochester!'Man know thyself' -
I think you saw a different version of this film Peter- this was the one with Michael Fassbender- Jane doesn't play piano at all in this one- it is only Rochester who plays the piano- but a few notes, not properly.Ludwig van Beethoven
