Listening to the Italian Concerto, 1st mov., by a man from the jazz environment, Keith Jarret. Enjoyable. Then youtube offered me Mozart's concerto no.10 for two pianos and orchestra, K.365/316a, by the same with Chick Corea, another jazz exponent. It was fun.

Bach: Magnificat in D major, BWV 243 (Karl Richter). Every choro and aria is of exceptionable quality here, not my words but one can feel it. If I had to choose one thing from among this collection of wonders, I would perhaps select the Et misericordia, with its repeating crotchet-quaver figuration in the bass strings.

In the past 3~4 months, I've basically only listened to Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas.

Are you listening to one performer or to several?

For those I like the most such as 23, 30, 32, etc. I have tried to find more versions from different performers.

A beautiful recording from Jaroussky's latest album "Farinelli, Porpora Arias". This particular aria, for me, conveys the beauty and elegance of baroque music. From the opera "Polifemo" by Porpora.

I've listened to this one almost every day in the past 2 weeks:

Beethoven: Piano Sonata No.23 Appassionata, Op.57

I love the 2nd movement to death.

The Hammerklavier sonata and sonata no.30- the variations in the third movement are sublime.
