    Yes, indeed! I was fortunate to attend a live concert he did years ago, but had to move my seat because he used that part of the balcony to climb down to the stage. That is how he made his entrance and he was usually a couple of minutes late (on purpose, of course).

                              This morning when I turned the radio on there was a violin concerto playing. It reminded me a great deal of Mendelssohn, but I knew that it was not his concerto. It turned out to be Louis Spohr's 7th.
