Anyone knew about this Piece by beethoven?

Hey Beethoven fans, how's your day?

I just got this book called Piano Pieces for Adult Beginners. I'm practing one of Beethoven's music off from the book called Romance in F. Can someone tell me about the information about this piece please? I'll be very happy to read your reply.

Hello, IB. My day is good, thanks for asking.

Maybe this piece is a piano version of the Violin Romance which we have been discussing on Chris's thread? Does it carry an opus number? 50 for bingo!

Thanks for telling me! The piano version doesn't have an Opus #. I'll find out soon. I'm glad your day went pretty good.

The only thing I can think of is it may be
the Romance from the Sonatina in G - is it in 6/8 rhythm?

            It's not 6/8 rhythm, it's 4/4

One of my piano books is "16 Easy Piano Selections" you might be interested in some of the songs in this book. Ecossaise in Eb WoO 86, Ecossaise in G WoO 23, Sonatina in F, Anh. 5, No. 2. Lots of nice songs to have fun with.

It just occurred to me that it could even be one of those pieces attributed to B, but by someone else. Seems that there is a Sonatina in F that has been attributed to him. (The Romance could be the second movement.)

Then maybe PDG is correct - it could be an arr. of the Romance for Violin and orchestra.
