I referred to this post of yours. B flat was enough information for one who knows Bach's works, as wikipedia showed me. It's weird, the six partitas for the clavier are among the first records I ever bought and have listened to them it must be a hundred times since.

Peter, you seem to be rather fond of Prokofieff. Is is safe to assume so? As I'm not aware of English ways, I don't know if this is a correct question to do. If it's not, I beg your pardon.

It is safe to assume that I too like Prokofiev

Then, if you like symphonies, you cannot miss the 3rd symph, so unfairly disregarded among her sisters. But perhaps it's useless to point out in your case.

                    This morning:

Beethoven: Sonata, Op. 10, No. 3 (a personal favorite) played by Bernard Roberts. That is one of the best interpretations I've heard of that work.

                      Domenico Scarlatti
Sonata in A Major (Kirkpatrick 24)
                      Sonata in D Minor (K.141)
                      Sonata In G Minor (K.426)
                      Sonata In G Major (K.427)
                      Sonata In C Minor (K.158)
                      Sonata In C Major (K.159)
                      Sonata In A Major (K.208)

One hour of music from one who knew how to write it for the keyboard. If you do not hold your attention fixed for more than 15 min I won't blame you. But then, make some pauses. The effort will reward you.

Somethin' stupid, originally recorded by Frank and Nancy Sinatra in 1967.

                            Seriously:
                            Tchaikowsky
                            Fifth Symphony, finale.

And regarding the finale, a question for the connoisseur: what is the time signature, if there is only one?
