Answered by Megan: The Florentine Camerata was a group of humanists, musicians, poets and intellectuals in late Renaissance Florence who gathered under the patronage of Count Giovanni de' Bardi to discuss and guide trends in the arts, especially music and drama.
3) A retreat in the centre for Prince Karol. Answered by Michael (in two parts!) : George Sand's chateau Nohant in the Centre region of France where Chopin spent seven of his most productive summers, until his relationship with Sand ended suddenly. In her novel Lucrezia Floriani, Sand used Chopin as a model for the sickly Eastern European Prince Karol.
