                    Yaniewicz, Felix. One of the members of the Philharmonic Society of London who were thoroughly disappointed when Beethoven sent them the "Ruins of Athens" overture and other works which were not up to his usual standard.

                    (Like Beethoven, I'm scraping the barrel here).

                      Zelter, Carl Freidrich , Berlin Musician and friend of Goethe. He may have met Beethoven in 1796 during his visit to Berlin and definitely met briefly in Vienna in 1819. They also corresponded abut the Missa Solemnis in 1823 and seemed to have a warm regard for each other.
