If we have, I counter-propose "yonking" : Beethoven has some pretty yonking rhythms in his oeuvre.

Z is for Zeus, of whom Beethoven represented most among composers.

Fanciful, to say the least, but your X was great!

Some of these letters do require a bit of imagination!

                A-Z Beethoven Quiz Round 11
And we're off for the latest installment!
A = Augmented 6th. Another harmonic device used by Beethoven (and other classical composers) often used to spice up the approach to major cadences.

Opened a boarding school in Vienna in 1814. Was in close contact with Beethoven as his nephew attended it from 1819 to 1823.

All those forenames? Nah, you've got to be kidding us, Michael! Come on, come clean now.

D = Jan Ladislav Dussek. Not sure if Beethoven ever met him, but he was certainly in operation around the same time. He was the recipient of one of John Broadwood's first 6-foot (1.8-meter) "joannas".

I may have exaggerated a bit with the: Georg Johann Nepomuk Ferdinand Nikolaus Heinrich Franz Emanuel Anton Gottfried Ernst Wenzel August Theodor Anselm.
And the bit about the headstone.
He just seemed so lonely with a simple Joseph or whatever.

Would have been the "mother of all headstones", that's for sure!
