Chopin, according to some fellow in this forum, specially liked no.12 among Beethoven's sonatas. Having read this, I set to listen to it, and I only could appreciate the funeral march. Today I was bored and made up my mind to listen to my set of Backhaus' recordings which I download just a few months ago (blessed Internet). So I began by no. 9, and let the CD to end. To make a long story short, there it was no.12 and, this time, I got stucked with it. How amazing music is, for when you here something long forgotten, then it springs out of your mind with a force you did not suspected!

The amazing thing about Beethoven is the long-term effect of his music. Some works will hit you straight away but others may take a few years to creep up on you.
(Actually, all that sounds rather violent .... but you know what I mean.
