                              Taking a cue from Roehre, this evening I tackled Rossini's Stabat Matar (Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionalae di Santa Cecilia with Pappano conducting). Soloists: Netrebko, Didonato, Brownlee, and D'Arcangelo. The recording was quite energetic and dramatic.
