Peter, thank you. I'll listen to them and get back to you. Also, you raise some interesting points, to my mind, and I wrote down a few thoughts, questions, etc. that I want to raise about major and minor, and many other things. So, I'll post them soon.

Also, I have a question - if I make a post about major/minor, etc. which forum does it belong in? I think it would/should be the main forum because it is about music, though really I'm not to sure?

Yes, post such threads in the main forum.

A few years ago I purchased an album of the complete mazurkas and proceeded to play through them. They are completely delightful and created an interest in Chopin that I had not had before.

This year my biggest musical "discovery" would have to be the Mozart concerti, particular the piano concerti.

          Valentina Lisitsa

I was looking for a good YouTube video of Beethoven's Op. 10 No. 3 and discovered Valentina Lisitsa. WOW! What a talent! I encourage everyone to go to her website and view her videos.

Some of my greatest discoveries I think are Bach's organ fugues transcribed to piano especially this one (BWV 542):

            and

and the Art of Fugue also transcribed to piano. The piano transcriptions speak very much more to me than the organ originals. In the coming weeks I try to dicovery more of Bach's piano works...

The Art of Fugue is actually playable on the keyboard without any modifications.

I also have the Art of fugue transcribed for string quartet which works very well.

As string quartet it was my first encounter with this work.
Love this more than performances on organ.
