I have seen this young Irish actress in two or three films and she is quite impressive. It seems she has another hidden talent:

I wonder how much of it she actually plays. My guess would be the opening of the slow movement but I could well be underestimating her. The article states that she plays the entire sonata, and that she never played the piano before. How likely is that in 12 weeks?


However, I can't stay to argue about it. I must post and run (to my park bench while it's raining.)

Hope you're not getting too wet Michael! I simply do not believe that she could learn the whole of Op.2/3 in 12 weeks having never played a note before.

And why the hell would she learn the whole sonata for the sake of a few seconds on screen?
