The one I have (3rd concerto) is with the Berlin Philharmonic and Claudia Abbado. It is a remaster from a record. I thought I had the 2nd but I do not; my memory is playing nasty tricks on me. It must have been a radio performance and I do think it was Argerich playing.

              This morning:

              Kraus: Sinfonia in C

              Mozart: 2nd Horn Concerto

              Did these two ever meet?

There was a brief period that Mozart and Kraus resided a block from one another. Kraus was a Free mason too, which raises the chances a little, but not that much.

Beethoven - Leonore Overture "No. 1"

I heard it on the radio on the way home from work and just had to listen to it again

A bit of a Bruckerthon this last weekend (alone in the Black Forest, no kids, no "significant other" ... pure bliss!) :
Symphony No 3 (the usual 3 versions, the latter two conducted by Wildner), 4, 6 and 9, in each and every case, performances by Jochum and Tintner.
Also had good food during my little séjour, which I will post on the Food thread (General forum).
