My suggestion was that it does apply, hence my accusation of hippocracy. The same superficial people in the audience will be waving the flags, maybe, next year. The fact that they were silent this year means nothing. If and when the Pomp is reinstated, it will prove the organisers have learned nothing from this experience. We shall wait and see...
