    piano sonatas

I would like somebody over there to tell me which is the easiest to play of beethoven's sonatas for a novice pianist (don't tell me the adagio sostenuto of the moonlight!!)
Remember I want something really easy!!!

None of them are really easy. The "easiest" is almost certainly Op. 49 No. 2.

Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on your point of view) Beethoven wasn't renowned for writing easy music suitable for the novice - none of the Sonatas should be attempted by anyone below UK Grade 5 standard. Most of the sonatas are post Grade 7. The Sonatinas and some of the bagatelles are more appropiate for inexperienced pianists.
