Gosh, I never realized that Michael, I am going to listen to B's second movement of the Emperor again more carefully, and see if I can recognize similarities.
I don't think it has any similarities with the pan pipes theme you linked. I haven't seen the film in quite a long time but I'm sure the Beethoven movement appeared a number of times.
