FULL TEXT OF: BEETHOVEN AND HIS NINE SYMPHONIES BY GEORGE GROVE, AVAILABLE ONLINE

I was very suprised to see this available online:

    http://www.archive.org/stream/beetho...31mbp_djvu.txt

I'll have to check if their are any other texts about LVB on this site. (Legal?)

Looked up to see if there were more texts, TREASURE TROVE:

    http://www.archive.org/search.php?qu...iatype%3Atexts

I don't know if this site is common knowledge, but it is to me. What a find!!

I have had this book for many years. Wouldn't be without it.

(Just given it a quick look on line and it appears to be text only - no musical notation.)

      (Added later .....)
Apologies for the above! Whatever way I accessed it, I was getting typescript. I managed to get the hang of it and view the facsimile which, of course, has all the musical examples. A brilliant find - especially with all those other works!
