Opera day in Madrid: Trial to Mozart

Just wanted to share with you quite an original and amusing idea:

At the Orient Square in Madrid, in front of the Royal Theater, a stage will be installed where the most famous fragments of Mozart works will be performed to allow the public (the event is free) act as a Public Court to "judge" his works. There will be two performances at 12.00 and 20.00 of fragments from "Don Geovanni", "Zauberflute", "Cosi fan tutte" and "Nozze di Figaro".

The audience will judge Mozart based on the "claims" by some of his characters such as Don Geovanni, Zerlina, etc... such characters will submit their "claims" against the composer due to the life composer wrote for them or the vocal difficulties he set for them, trying to encourage the audience participation (between us, some musicians from the Orchestra will be there to provide discretely some arguments to the audience).

Sopranos Victoria Manso and Sonia de Munck, mezzosoprano Marina Pardo, tenor Julio Morales and baritone-bass Isidro Anaya, will be joined by pianist Celsa Tamayo.

Police should be there if the defendant would be Wagner, I presume...
