Little Beethoven Admirers

Our grandchildren watched "Copying Beethoven" and enjoyed the movie. They found it quite funny in parts, but were duly impressed by the Ninth! At a much younger age than yours truly!

Our music teaching daughter's twins will be singing in this Orchestra's junior choir at the end of the month.

It's their second outing with the famous orchestra's junior choir.

Of our 6 grandchildren, 5 are learning an instrument, piano, violin, flute, guitar, recorder, and possibly the harp. A music dynasty in the making? The 6th is married and a mother with a little 3 year old boy to take care of!

Yes Peter, it's the wonderful music that's really important. I just wish I had been introduced to the classics at an earlier age. By more enthusiastic teachers.

Coincidently? the first Orchestral Concert, (The only one throughout my schooling) was at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester 1956, by the orchestra named above.

One of my co-workers and friend recently purchased Copying Beethoven and loved it! Particularly the music and the 9th's part of it. She wants me and several others to come over for a viewing and a discussion about 'our part' in it. Should be interesting.
