    Suggestions please?

I would like to get a copy of the Missa Solemnis and was wondering if you sages out there could give me any recommendations.
(I have heard it only a few times, but was very impressed by the Gloria and Credo in particular.)
    Thanks

Oh these recommendations that usually reduce us to civil war!

I'll stick my neck out with this period instrument version - Orchestre des Champs Elysses and the Choeurs de la Chapelle Royale et du Collegium Vocale, directed by Philippe Herreweghe (Harmonia Mundi HMC 901557)

Firstly, don't even consider a recording that needs 2 CDs. By default you've got lame tempi somewhere. Also well worth considering is Gardiner's recording on Archiv and the version by the Hanover Band (Nimbus) included in their boxed set with the B Symphonies and Overtures.

Thank you gentlemen. I knew I could rely on both of you.
