    Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards will be presented this weekend and Beethoven is up for at least two. As Sunday's Grammy Awards approach, KBaq is surveying this year's nominees in the classical categories. First The Piano Sonata No. 9 in G, Op. 14, No. 1 performed by Pianist Garrick Ohlsson. "Despite a long and illustrious career, Ohlsson has never won a Grammy. That may change Sunday night. He's up for a collection of Beethoven Piano Sonatas that features this performance".
Also Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G, Op. 58 with Pianist Lang Lang with Orchestre de Paris and conductor Christoph Eschenbach.
"Lang Lang's recording of two Beethoven piano concertos is up for a Grammy in the category of "Best Instrumental Soloist Performance with Orchestra."
Then on Monday, KBaq will have performances and conversations with some of Sunday's winners.
