    Beethoven: A Portrait

More YouTube goodness, uploaded by LVB1770: A three-part program called "Beethoven: A Portrait," by Balint Vazsonyi & Nicholas Vazsonyi (I assume they're related ). Guests are Cash Baxter & Anthony Quayle (whom you know from his stage work in "Titus Andronicus" with Laurence Olivier & Vivien Leigh in 1957).

Incidentally, does LVB1770 post on this forum?

Ahh, Yes. This was great. I watched it for the first time about a week ago. There were many unique perspectives on the man and his music that had not previously occured to me, but my favorite is always the on site visits in films like this (Keeping Score w/ Michael Tilson Thomas did alot of this as well). It somewhat appetizes my desire to visit Germany and Austria some day. Speaking of that, have you read Peter's report on his trip to vienna? It's Grrreat.
