    gprengel, I agree that Handel is a very definite man of unbelievable spirituality. I from what I have heard, which isn't that much, feel that Bach was too. What do you make of this piece, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPtGoo7X4c4 . I feel that Milstein plays it like no other, he kind of puts a taste of it "in your face", so to say.

      This Requiem of the two from the hand of Cherubini is played every year the 6th of January in memory of my deceased sister (she died 22 years of age in a fire accident).
