Schiff's Lectures on the Beethoven Sonatas

Andras Schiff has given a lecture series covering all 32 of Beethoven's piano sonatas. You can download and listen to them all here.

These are definately worth listening to if you love these works. He makes a lot of good points, and his love for these pieces and his admiration for Beethoven is very evident.

I especially liked what he had to say about the "Hammerklavier" sonata.

Thank you for the tip! These look amazing. I love finding analytical sorts of things on Beethoven compositions or bio on the Internet. A lot of the public radio Web sites have RealAudio programs on B, some dumb but some quite good.
