Very enjoyable piece. I liked the minor intermissions in the Andante, and also the sudden usage of percussion instruments, not unlike haydn in his military symphony. Lovely work.

Here is a lovely piece by Mendelssohn,recently given to me by my music teacher, called, Song Without Words. Quite an easy piece to play and very melodious.

In addition to the timpani, Eggert scores a bass drum, cymbals, and a triangle in three out of four his completed symphonies: the C-minor, C-major, and G-minor.
