Anyone have any suggestions for recordings of Weber's Clarinet Concertos? I haven't liked any of the ones I have heard so far...Sabine Meyer plays them too fast for example...

You might try Emma Johnson and the English Chamber Orchestra. These have been released on Brilliant as a 3 disk set called "Romantic Clarinet Concertos" if I recall correctly. Along with Weber, they also include some very nice concerti by Spohr, Crusell and Kozeluch, among others. And at Brilliant's prices, they are virtually a giveaway.

That's my opinion, I may be wrong.

I have heard some of Emma Johnson's recordings and they are decent. They are some of the more common recordings. I was wanting to know about some of the less common recordings that people might have. In particular, I have one of the pieces on LimeWire and cannot trace it to any particular recording...it is frustrating.

I highly recommend Antony Pay and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment. They are in period instruments, conducted by Pay and you also get on the second cd (there is the 2-cd set and both cds separate, get the 2-cd set for this-> ) Crussel's concertos which are also very fine.
Despite being a Klöcker's fan (I don't know if he recorded them, though), I much prefer the sound of period clarinet, it's is one instrument which the tone is indeed much more beautiful than the too shrill modern one.
I also recommend you seek Taillard/Torbianelli's recording of the Gran Duo Concertant, Variations on a Theme from Silvana and the achingly beautiful Sonata from Ries on Harmonia Mundi. The playing (also on an even more beautiful instrument than Pay's) is magnificent here and Ries' sonata is very, very impressive.
