My Granmother has an in-healthy obsession with Strauss's waltzes. I swear that if I listen to "waltz, wine, woman and song" I will burn the C.D!
Do you know of any works by Beethoven that she could listen to by Beethoven that doesn't go too far away from Strauss's distinctive style? I tried Swanlakes waltzes but she thinks that they are too repeatative! And Strauss isn't? Please help me! I nedd help, Unfortunately the waltz wasn't the most popular dance in Beethovens time!
