    Mahler Symphony No. 8

    Hey everyone,

    I am looking to purchase a recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 8...I am looking at the Solti and Bernstein recordings thus far. Any preferences or other recommendations?

    Abravanal with the Utah Symphony has made some good recordings of Mahler.

      Sir Simon Rattles recording is very fine but Soltis version is also a personal favourite of mine!

        Either Solti or Bernstein on video.

          ...I already purchased it quite a while ago; I got Solti (on CD). It's great, I love it!
