    Wo0 catergory?

Could anyone shed light on the catergory system of"Wo0" for me please, also where Wo0 53 comes from?

Beethoven's works have been catalogued using several systems. Most of the Opus numbers were chosen by Beethoven himself. Beethoven regarded certain works as not so important and these were classed by Kinsky in 1955 as WoO (Werke ohne Opuszahl - works without Opus number).

WoO53 is an Allegretto in C minor for piano written around 1796/7 and published posthumously. It was possibly intended originally for the Piano sonata Op.10/1.
