I understand that post production of 'Copying Beethoven' is contracted to the Sidney Kimmell Foundation. I have emailed the address on the Sidney Kimmell website as follows -

Should we use this address to urge them? What about a...referendum? In Italy they have a great success (in fact people open the purse...for them!) Es muss sein!Open your purse!! I'm always excited..
:-O How is it possible I'm living in germany and I haven't heard a single word about "Copying Beethoven"? Wow, I know what I am doing now..hehe..reading through the old thread :-)
*~Ja, was haben's da scho wieder gmacht, Beethoven?~*
I have to admit that I am looking forward to the movie, anything that can transport me to B's time and inspires me to ponder about what he really was like and how he lived. The other night I needed a 'B' 'fix' so I watched Beethoven Lives Upstairs, my choice for the most accurate.
I'm disapointed that it's another fake B movie, but at least Ed Harris has put his heart into it.

yes but don't forget movies are movies and I think the best way to find out more about b as person is by reading his letters. I am getting annoyed by people who've seen Immortal Beloved and believe every single word in it so I really hope the new film is going to be more accurate.

Please don't write to Kimmel Entertainment. It won't accomplish anything. (Especially at this address, since the production office is in Los Angeles.) The film was locked last week, that is, the final version was formalized, so that the last elements of post production can be attended to. Writing to Myriad won't help either, since they don't even have the final version of the film yet. It takes time to make a film - usually 18 months to two years - so please be patient. We have foreign distribution lined up; we now have to find an American distributor, which we can begin to do now that we have a definitive (American) version of the film.
