    Tempi Comparisons - Audio Files

I know you all have talked a lot about Beethoven's tempo markings & renowned recordings, but I can't at the moment find those threads. So I'm starting a new one just to say I ran across a great site dedicated to the "Eroica" this morning:
    http://www.grunin.com/eroica/

Many of you are probably already familiar with this site. For all I know, the site owner of "The Eroica Project" is already a member here.

If you choose QUIRKS from the menu list at the left of the page & then select EXTREMES OF TEMPO, you'll find a series of MP3 downloadables from various recordings that make a fascinating comparison.

The rest of the site is also worth perusing. I was fascinated!

This site is truly astonishing - those comparisons of individual performances - very surprising!
