    Near-impossible I'd say, Peter! Liszt, for all his faults, had only good intentions at heart, and scrupulously noted in his notebook margins, the orchestrated passages which simply could not be replicated on solo piano.

      Robert, I've never met a man with 8 hands (apart from Mr L. van Octopus who lives upstairs). He can't play the piano but you should see his knitting patterns...
