I remember the quote in a Barcelona newspaper critic of the concert I mentioned saying what I could translate as "dry, academic".
Nevertheless I must say that despite I don't have any of his records (up to now...) there are some very interesting ones I have in mind waiting for the proper time (you know... budget issues). My wish list includes Chamber music (trios and quartets he plays with Yo Yo Ma, Laredo, Stern), and specially Chopin's piano concertos he recorded playing a 1853 Erard.
