This canata is now quite a popular 'filler' item on Beethoven disks. As a result I've got at least 4 versions of it, 2 on authentic instruments.

This version on Gardiner's CD with the Mass in C is quite nicely performed, the period instruments show themselves more in the second part (which could have been performed a touch faster to my taste, but this is a minor quibble).

The other period instrument version is on the CHandos label by Collegium Musicum 90 with Richard Hickox conducting. That disk also has the Mass in C as the main item.

Also i have a version on a disk that has the Joseph and Leopold Cantatas (Hyperion label), and another on an old US recording of rareties on the Vox label.

Yes, but it was long enough ago that it seemed almost new to me.
