A curious fact is that both Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Mozart married sisters of the women they first loved. In the case of Haydn, he loved Therese Keller but married her younger sister, Maria Anna Aloysia Apollonia Keller in March 1760. (Haydn was at this time 28 years old).
In Mozart's case, he first fell in love with Aloysia Weber while at Mannheim in 1777. Mozart was 22 at the time. She rejected him. In 1781 he became attracted to Aloysia's younger sister, Constanze, and the couple married in Vienna in August of 1782. (Mozart was at this time 26 years old).
