On This Day!

I learned from the radio this morning that On This Day Jan. 4th, 1710 -- Composer Giovanni Pergolesi is born in Iesi, Marche, Italy. I don't know much about him, could someone tell me something about his life and music?

In a nutshell, he died at 26 and left wonderful sacred music. Try his Stabat Mater for an amazing time.
