A nice performance. For some reason, this, and the Norrington that was featured a couple of weeks ago, sound as if they were recorded at Wembly stadium. Or could it be my computer speakers?

The Norrington was recorded at London's famous Abbey Road studios so I'd check out those speakers!

As good a performance as you'll ever hear and the other movements are of a similar standard. The accoustic is rather ambient in this recording, but I like it that way and in any case it is preferable to some venues that sound like concrete vacuum chambers.

Peter I noticed that at the page the track is identified as the 4th movement!
