    Read Goethe's Sorrows of Werther. For the sake of learning the meaning of the sonata, reverse the last two movements until you get the hang of the presto. I cannot claim this is what Chopin had in mind, but if you play the result in public (movements in Chopin's original order, of course), it will knock people out.
