I hope you're not offended by me asking this question here, but I assume many of you know more about classical music than just things about Beethoven, so here goes:
I read on the i-net (twice today, already) that pianist Paul Wittgenstein (related to the philosopher) had several concertante works for piano left hand (since he lost one arm in the war) & orchestra dedicated to him, amongst which a work by Strauss. The only Strauss piano-and-orchestra work I own (and know of) is the Burlesque - but in my sources, that is written for piano two hands! Who knows what work by Strauss is referred to?
