    Mozart symphonies and concertos

I would like to purchase Mozart's complete symphonies and piano concertos. Any suggestions as to which box sets I should look into?
    Thanks,
    Carolyn

In my opinion, the best are:

      Symphonies: Hogwood/Academy of Ancient Music
      Concertos: Bilson/Gardiner/English Baroque Soloists

These are both period instrument recordings, so keep that in mind.

There's no need to go complete with Mozart.

For his symphonies, i would get the newly released (on trio) set of Leonard Berstein conducting the mature symphonies as well as the Szell 40 and 41.

You can add the Mackerras set containing the Paris symphony and you are all set.

As far as the concertos are concerned the Casadesus/Szell is yet to be surpassed...
