Help with Analysis Paper on Classical Music!
Hello. My name is John, and for my High School Choir class, we are analyzing a period of music, a piece from that era, and comparing it with a painting from the same time frame. My teacher said that it would be wise for me to include something about "What purpose did Classical music serve, and how does that tie in with your piece?" My piece is Haydn's "The Heavens are Telling" from "The Creation" oratorio. I know it's not Beethoven, but I'm hoping you can help me...
