How does Beethoven's style and personality compare to today's genres of music?

Just a question for thought for all you Beethoven fans. How would his style and personality work today's modern music?

I always think of Beethoven's late string quartets as todays modern music.I know that can't be so as they are two hundred years old.

Beethoven couldn't be appreciated today by the mainstream if he wrote the type of music he did 200 years ago. He would have to include an amp for the guitar or have hip hop beats to be a big star these days.

Well, I don't know, he would be needed to do what he did in his time, expand the musical forms beyond the standard and shake things up with his talent.
On the other hand, I can't see the problem with the amp for the guitar . Hiphop stuff is another question
