Nov. 25th, 1787, Beethoven's one-year-old sister Maria Margaretha dies.

Had she survived, one wonders whether Maria would have been as musically gifted as her brother Ludwig and how they would have got on together.

Interesting point - I think she could have been a very positive influence on Beethoven and possibly the whole sorry nephew saga could have been averted.
