I need some info
Hello all. I'm writing a German paper on Beethoven, and I was wondering how many Symphonies, concertos (I know I butchered that) and other music pieces he wrote, altogether. Thanks!

Officially there are 9 symphonies, 7 concertos, 16 string quartets, 32 piano sonatas, 10 violin sonatas, 5 'cello sonatas, 1 opera, 2 masses, 1 oratorio.
In all the Opus catalogue runs to 138 (sometimes there is more than one work to an opus), in addition the WoO catalogue lists 205 pieces. The Hess catalogue also lists many fragments and incomplete pieces.
