    Jupiter

I heard a fantastic piece of music a while back on Radio 3 called "Jupiter" by a composer named Foucaray (not the right spelling I am sure but that was how it sounded) I emailed the BBC to enquire but no response Does anyone know this piece?

    Tony,
I think the composer you heard may have been Antionie Jean-Baptiste FORQUERAY,
Here is a site with some information about Forqueray's 'Jupiter' just scroll down till you come to his name. http://research.unc.edu/endeavors/win98/score.html
    http://www.musicweb.uk.net/classrev/.../FORQUERAY.htm

Looking back at Radio 3 playlist they have played Forqueray's Jupiter, on several occasions,

I hope this will be helpful
